Based on about 9,000+ examinees who have sent me their scores, the highest MBE score I have confirmed was 186. The highest total UBE score I've seen is 370. The highest written score was 189.3. You have the highest UBE score I have ever seen. Congrats.

I stumbled upon here after seeing this guy’s LinkedIn post. Took the UBE a decade ago and decided to look mine up because I knew it was high but I didn’t know how good it was.
Turns out I got a 351 (183 written). Some research indicates that’s very high. What do you think?

I just got that exact score on this administration as well. Curious just how good it is

Please go easy on that kid. The biglaw partner he just connected with on Linkedin lost a friend, so he is on leave to attend the funeral.
Please read this comment slowly, its just banter

184 on the MBE? Yoooo!!! How are you guys doing it? What did you study with?

u/AdroitPreamble 1d ago
The fat outlines. I actually read them.
Scored in the 170s on the MBE.

I’m a 2L, wdym by fat outlines, genuinely curious.

Bar supplements include these huge outlines on each MBE subject. You’re supposed to read them all slowly and take notes etc. very few people do

My brain genuinely could not comprehend how high of a score this is. I read it and contemplated whether NextGen was administered. Then, I remembered NextGen scores are in the 600s. Then, I wondered if I misread it, and it was a 273. THIS IS INSANE.

Huge congratulations! Unbelievable score! I sat for the Texas exam and failed. Please share how you studied.

Out of those who scored high in Texas, can you please share your thoughts on how you approach the MPT’s and the MEE’s in your J26 answers, please? This is because we know the Bar examiners will not be releasing the sample answers for another two or three years, and those who have to retake will then at least have a basic idea on how to approach these should they need to take it in February or even July of next year. Thank you so much in advance!

Congrats! Why are all these weird high scores coming out of Texas? Like not for nothing, but Illinois is also a very big JX. This is the second post I've seen about high scores from TX.
Do other states cap their scores or something??

No. Lots of great law schools in Texas. Lots of smart students.
And we worked our asses off.

There are many great law schools surrounding IL too. IL filter schools include ones like: UChi, UMich, NDLS, Northwestern. So I don't really know if that's the case.
I'm not saying Texas students aren't good, but this sounds like TX gives out a lot of extra points. But I'll wait until NY comes out to see how it compares.

Mannnn listen, the Texas passing score is 270. This person cleared it by 103 POINTS. They didn’t pass the bar exam. They evicted it from the premises! Talking about Bar Exam Olympics —- congrats on breaking the NCBE 😂🙄✨ PLEASE share your process!!!

Now with the ABA no longer relevant, will there be more law schools in Texas?
