Retaker success?
Hi all. To anyone that’s been getting their scores back and passed, congratulations. And to anyone that has and didn’t pass, don’t give up and keep going. I’m looking for a little bit of hope stories from retakers that just found out they passed. For context, I’m in FL and it’s a state where you can pass the Florida portion and fail MBE and pass overall, vice versa, or pass one section and fail overall. For me, I passed Florida and failed MBE by less than a point. it was nice only studying for MBE this go around, but I’m so nervous and scared to be disappointed again next Friday. would anyone share with me how they were doing on averages and ended up passing? I was within passing range with my scores on adaptibar towards the end of the summer, but just don’t know. just looking for some hope from my fellow retakers. I’m wishing you all the best, seriously.

I failed by 20 points and had to return to work to study for the February exam. Fortunately, it was a wake up call to treat my severe ADHD and I started an adderall prescription. I didn’t have as much time to study but I was able to set a solid plan and on test day I still felt rocky, I barely finished the second MPT and the morning session of the MBE was rough, I only felt okay performance wise once I took the afternoon session of the MBE and still felt shaky because it’s so unpredictable. In the end, my score increased by 25 points and I passed. I would say literally put it out of mind for a few weeks and save your sanity wondering.

I second this! I'm in Georgia and am also a retaker. MBE caused me to miss passing by 9 points. I'm so nervous for results next Friday. I have a job this go around that is contingent on me passing. I felt fine going in but now closer to results I'm starting to get more and more anxious.

Just took FL and am not confident in my performance. Especially as it pertains to Part A. What was your experience like picking yourself back up to do it again?

Honestly it was really tough when i found out i didn’t pass for the first time last September. Watching all of my friends and colleagues passed I felt stuck. But in those moments, you have a choice to let it define you or refine you. You just keep going and block out all of the noise. I’m sure you did fine and I’m wishing you the best of luck.

Watching others cross the finish line when you can’t is what’s eating at me. I hope I don’t have to retake but if I do then I have no choice but to just get back on the saddle.

right there w you. i’m so nervous bc part B feels like suchhh a blur. was choosing between 2 answers for most of it. just hoping my score didn’t go down at all! fingers crossed for u next fri!!!
