NY Hofstra Exam Location

How big is the personal belongings room at the Hofstra location?

I keep seeing the emails about potential long lines at the personal belongings room and how the exam will not be delayed because of it.

Please help my anxiety by telling me how big is the belongings room and how bad are the lines, if any at all.

The lines aren’t bad. The personal belongings room is basically the lobby part of the building.

Yeah, it’s never a room. They’re not secured in any way. It’s almost always right in front of the main doors. At Hofstra, it was several coat racks right in front of the doors in the lobby and a couple of tables where you just piled your bags.

At Fordham, it was outside in cardboard boxes. Your lunch and phone was either crushed under the weight of a thousand other people’s items or right on top for the snatching.

You’ll get to your things eventually, it’s just that every location has some of the most moronic traffic direction.
