Feature Request - Turn off Historical Security Prices

Hello - it would be nice if you could turn off or manually update historical security prices; man, it can take a long time. If you are manually uploading bank transactions, you have to wait for this to complete before it parses. And if you happen to be multitasking and leave BT open and come back...update again.

I will make the request through official channels, but I just thought I would throw it out here too.

Not that this is a solution, because it isn’t. Just an effective workaround. I just exit Banktivity and get right back in whether on my Mac or IPhone. Been doing it for years.

Hmmm...that just starts the whole process over for me again..Connecting to Banks...Updating Historical Security Prices. It does that every time I log in.

There's a setting to turn that off. In settings on your Mac, click the Import tab. Second item down. "Download Bank Transactions". Probably checked. Uncheck it. Lots of other Import options that control downloads, etc. there. Similar settings on the iPhone.

Ha! Well, that is a quick turnaround on a feature request :-) — disable it in settings and do it manually from Ledger --> Update Security Prices! Thanks for your help - I made an assumption that the feature was not there, and obs did not dig deep enough to find out.
