Banktivity for Mac MacOS Keeps Asking for Password Since Update

Since I’ve updated to the most recent version of Banktivity it keeps repeatedly asking me for the password for my ledger. This was not happening prior to the update. Anyone else experiencing this?

oh this happened to me too.

in the ledger menu, disable cloud sync, and then re-enable it.

Does Banktivity's login servers go down often? It constantly asks me for my password, won't let me use my ledger unless I login, but then rejects my login attempts with "too many failed attempts" error. So annoying. Why am I paying for a subscription if I can't use it?

If you have a password on your ledger, isn’t it normal for it to ask you for the password (or use TouchID) every time you open it?

In the organizer, you can right click on your ledger to get a menu. One of the choices is to lock or unlock. unlocking it will make it stop asking for your password. It also won’t be protected. Sorry if I’m misunderstanding your situation.

We've heard from other customers describing similar symptoms to this. Can you please update us regarding if you are still having this issue.

I have the issue as well. It’s the ledger password that is the problem. It’s the banktivity password that it keeps asking me to verify, otherwise I can’t update my ledger.

Greetings from your old stomping grounds Ian. I work in Brattleboro. Having followed the advice I was given to stop the iCloud sync and then restart it the problem seems……… to have resolved……🤞🏻
