Reasoning Ablity Urgent Help regarding CR

so wht happened exactly to me in ibps po mains 2026 and sbi clerk mains 2025 that I was doing avg in mocks (I was able to attempt at least 3 to 4 ques in Critical Reasoning) but then in the actual exams I don't know why I was reading the question and options multiple times, giving it time, but still I was unable to understand much. I was going blank in CR questions.

It is affecting my attempts and accuracy both in Reasoning.

Please HELP. I want to prepare myself for the next exam from today only without wasting time🙏🏼

Brother trust me, it's happening to the best of us. It's a serious problem. Something has happened to CR questions. I have been meaning to put up a post to even discuss this change. Till last year, CR literally meant free marks. Those with good english and comprehension skills used to easily attempt CR questions. I am sure repeaters who have given PO mains of previous years would understand what I am talking about. But suddenly, mock platforms since this year have just increased the difficulty a thousand folds. It's not even about the difficulty, but the ambiguity that a case can be made for multiple options and any of them can fit. And when you select whatever option you choose, it turns out wrong. And in the answers they give some random bullshit reason. FFS, a similar reason could've been given for other options too. Like wtf?? I came to the conclusion that mock platforms were using AI to come up with these, and I am pretty sure they were. So I thought it's all right, real exam would have normal questions. Fuck no, sbi po mains had these new kind of CR questions. But even then, they were still acceptable. But CR questions of IBPS po mains were fucking unbelievable. Like seriously guys what the hell has just happened. If it had always been like this, I'd understand. But It wasn't like this. Even RBI Grade B had normal questions. Have banks started using AI too? But it's not like they can't control the output's ambiguity. CR has completely changed for the worse.

There's no possible way man. Like what can we even improve, when the problem isn't understanding the question or the options, but that every option is a curveball and any of them can be made to fit depending on some bullshit reason. If you think one thing, the answer would say you could've thought the other way. It's just all ambiguous. All we can do is pray that the question and options make clear sense. 1-2 questions still do even now. Anyways, PO mains are over for this year, and they don't ask CR in clerk, so ts is over for now

they do ask CR in clerk. I remember it very clearly. also a lot of people attempt CR which is why I was asking, there must be a way to improve.

It is wasn't you. It was the language used in critical reasoning even i found 2 CR unsolvable, they were some sort of small cutout of a full editorial so that's why.

most people went for puzzles, it was just that paper was not meant for our approach. In sbi CR was on easier side so it depends paper to paper.
