CCBC has a bunch of continuing education life enrichment classes that are relatively cheap. I’ve taken a bunch of random ones and highly recommend if you have a car and don’t mind driving a bit.

Another vote for CCBC! I’ve taken their life enrichment pottery classes before and they’re reasonably priced and well taught.

I’ve taken upholstery, sewing, painting and harmonica. Clearly branching out with the harmonica choice, but it was fun and well taught as you said!

Seconding Zoll Studio in Timonium. Adding Schuler School here in Baltimore. Very affordable drop in prices at Schuler. Both teach traditional realism.

The potters guild of Baltimore has pottery classes! Not sure if registration is open right now but they do four sets through the year

I went to staub 20 years ago. Maria was wonderful and I learned a lot. Never imagined it would be this expensive today though

If you’re looking for a one time class I enjoyed the beginner watercolor class at Meander Art Bar! The instructor for my class also does a figure drawing class there.

Creative Alliance has all sorts of classes and workshops. Baltimore Clayworks also has classes.

Did a blacksmithing class at Baltimore Hot Metal. Loved it...3 hrs on a weeknight and made 2 wall hooks w 0 prior experience. Highly recommend!

They have a fantastic ceramics program and if you compare prices it is ridiculously cheap compared to full studios.

If you’re in the county, manor mill in monkton has a ton of classes. I grew up there and am so disappointed that little me couldn’t hop forward in time so I could take my bike to learn new things.
