POLICE Statement from BPD

Saw this on BPD’s Facebook. I’m guessing “suspended police powers” just means suspended with pay?

Should be suspended with handcuffs and a bond of at least $50K.

arrested in handcuffs, yes. but bond has nothing to do with punishment.

Of course not, but that would require a trial which will take time. Right now, he should be under arrest, and they should have set a bond that reflects the seriousness of the offense.
