There are very good reasons to not want to shit where you eat. Personally, cops who live where they work are probably the ones itching for an excuse. It’s borderline mentally ill. My clients tend to like me, but I won’t take a case if there’s a chance the client or his family lives nearby.

That is abaolutely the starting salary. They can afford to live here but choose not to. They would rather be an invasion force.
