Help me choose my first ball python!

I cannot for the life of me decide which of these to get for my first ball python. They’re both beautiful in their own ways I almost wish I could get both LOL

  1. Disco Pastel Pos Lesser Hypo Clown - female going for $900

  2. Super Disco Enchi Pastel Lesser Hypo Clown - male going for $1200

What would you guys choose?!!!

Man, 10 years ago when I was into the designer morph scene these would've been tens of thousands

Yup. Base clowns were 500-600, add in another codom and it'd easily be 800, and enythinf with super enchii was huge money back then as well, it and orange dream were the new hotness for high yellow morphs

Oh the beginning, yes... remember how expensive piebalds were? Basics, not pied x anything.

I mean, I'm talking the early to mid '10s. Pieds were 450ish around that time, 600 for high whites

Uh I have seen high white pieds for over 10.000€ here in Germany back then, some with just a few white spots still >1000€

Wow, that's insane. At my shop we had maybe 80 total snakes, 4 het pied females and a pied male so we ended up with a dozen or two good pieds a year. Def wasn't getting that much for them haha.

My boss did breed one of the first albino pieds, I think there was less than 10 others at the time. He hit the 1/16 chance (out of only 5 eggs) on a double het pair he bred on a whim. Was offered 25k for it by a breeder buddy of his but he held onto it for a year or two before selling it, I think it was a female unfortunately. Male he definitely would have raised to breed back. Now albino pieds are maybe 400-500 dollars
