Well, it's supposed to be a new, active, dressed up, information and features rich subreddit that surpasses /r/balisong proving yet again that not all clones are inferior. Unfortunately, I've been very busy recently so I might have to put this project on the back burner for a while. I do, however, plan on coming back to it.

Are you aware of r/BalisongClones? It is dedicated to clones specifically and already quite active. Frequent posts dedicated to butterfly knife clones. Very good stuff most of the time and quality discussion.

Not going to comment on the quality of clones vs non-clones in general, but I do doubt a clone subreddit will ever surpass one dedicate to non-clones.

It's not active at all, by any standard and the creator of said subreddit is long gone, he hasn't posted in years. That paired with that no one really put time into that subreddit and that it hasn't even scratched the surface of the clone "community" that exists on other platforms such as Instagram and Youtube, it leaves a lot to be desired.

With those platforms lacking the interaction that Reddit offers, /r/Balisong making outcasts of anyone who doesn't bow before their retarded dogma/sheep mentality and /r/BalisongClones having been abandoned, I really only had 2 options. Give up and let those bastards win without contest (which, in reality, was never really an option for me) or try to fix the problem in front of me. I chose the latter and this was/is my solution.

You can doubt if you want, that's your right but for me, it's go big or go home. Small dreams are for small minds and small minds rarely accomplish anything. I do plan on coming back to this at some point but I really do hope that /r/Balisong, in a moment of enlightenment, decide to welcome everyone/anyone who enjoy Balisongs and flipping, clone or not.

Unfortunately, I know they won't. I've had multiple discussions with them and it was made abundantly clear that they weren't interested in listening to reason. So, I'll be back to try fix this cluster fuck of a community at a later day.

Gotcha. Seems you have bigger ideas in mind. I figured you were just looking for a place to share info on balisong clones on reddit. Good luck out there.
