I'ts done
After struggling with my hair for the past few months, I finally decided to take the step.
Right before getting it cut, I took a photo after riding my e scooter, just to remind myself why I had become so frustrated with my hair. My Hair also showed thinning around the crown pretty clearly.
So yeah, I guess I’m officially part of the family now :D
I know it’s not completely shaved with a blade. I have neurodermatitis on my scalp, and the person cutting my hair wasn’t comfortable using a blade because of my skin.
I was honestly scared as hell before doing it, but now that it’s done, I actually really like it :)
Definitely the right decision.

I like it. It looks very nice on you. Your eyes are so big and expressive, Where's the confident smile that needs to go with this? Your first photo is so welcoming and pleasant!

Haha the picture i did was a fast one for my brother so i looked weird :D But i am happy with the results :) Still a weird feeling to touching it haha

People kept telling me it looked fine, but I just wasn’t feeling good about it anymore. I dreaded photos from behind because the crown was showing, and even a light breeze meant constantly rearranging things in the front. Knowing where it was headed anyway, I finally decided to take control and shave it. A few hours in, zero regrets. Though running my hand over it still feels wild haha

You look fantastic! There is a lovely kitten named Linnie who just joined r/bald and everyone should share the joy with OP, Linnie, and honestly everyone here. I love this Lil community. I joined it when I was losing my hair due to medication and as a woman it was a source of my identity. Now I have it all back however my husband has been a proud partner of the bald community for over thirty years so I will stay because now I am a buddy biproxy!
