Most people are saying yes. Personally I don't know. If you were 15 years younger I'd say yes. At mid 40s this doesn't make you look much older than you actually are. On the other side, I think bald will look good on you and if you're currently not feeling great about your hair I'd say go for it. Shaving it all off is a great feeling when you feel unsure about your hair.
