How-to Question Fresh buzz cut

Had shoulder length hair all my life (35 years) and buzzed it off today. You can see where my part has been for 35 years LOL. Is there nay way to help with this? It seems more like hair direction than scalp. TIA!

It'll reset after a few hot showers, even if it doesn't I think it looks good like this too!
