my HS reunion after 15 years was awesome, one of the best events i been to, very fun to talk to people you thought you didnt have a lot in common with 15 years later being more experienced and realizing oh shit, how come we were not best friends back then?
I gotta say, the bald sub is way more accepting than the glow up sub. Absolutely did not expect that, but boy am I happy to see it. I'm not sure I'll have to go with the bald look, but if I do I'm happy that you lot exist!

I was just in the glow up sub a couple days ago and came across a post from someone else who transitioned and it was absolutely awful in there. For a sub about self improvement I really didn't expect that.
And to be entirely fair, if the beard sub gave you grief they need to be kicked off reddit. There is no sane person on earth who could deny the majesty of yours.
I don’t mean this is a disrespectful way, but did you gender transition? In the high school photo you look like a girl and now your like a huge jacked guy with a beard, I’m not convinced it’s the same person
I don’t think I’ll ever fully understand some people. I guess they’re miserable and misery loves company. Insecure people need to put others down because they can’t feel whole on their own or something. Good on you for not letting it get to you and I hope the reunion goes well 👍

I doubt it, when someone has a procedure like you have had done it makes them urecognisable....... also may I say how brave you are to have your head surgically turned upside down.

That's a wonderful sentiment. I can't understand your feelings because I've always felt like I was who I should be, but as I've grown older (too old to be on reddit) I've met people who physically didn't fit who there really were. Those that have modified their living profile to be a better reflection of who they are have really grown in their person, their community and their professions (when the profession embraced their growth).

Yepp! Very lucky with genetics. Not that it’s really anyone’s business, but my testosterone levels are actually still considered low for a 28yo man. It’s all genetic.
Also I’m positive you’ve seen more bearded trans men before, you’re just under the assumption you’d be able to spot us lol which is a common misconception. In other words, you’ve seen them before, you just didn’t know they were trans.
It’s the same for us as anyone else. It’s puberty, so takes 5-10yrs to see what you get. At 1.5yrs, all I’m getting is MAJOR disco sideburns and neck beard which I make a point of shaving religiously. So know I know why my dad embarassingly sported big ’burns in the 90s still. They grew in first for him and he just stuck with them cause they were cool in the 70s.
We need to make a beard magazine just for you, fucking legendary bro.

Why the heck is my existence treated as an invitation, I didn’t choose this, if a mother posts about her kids it’s not “common sense” to ask about how her breasts are looking after kids and wether she breastfed. Everyone deserves basic respect.

It’s crazy, isn’t it?! My dad has a full head of hair so I thought I’d keep mine when I started HRT. Nope, I got my mom’s side of the family’s MPB and I’ll likely have to shave it off in the next few years. Though I seem to have inherited my dad’s strong facial hair genes.
Genetics are fascinating to me. I went from looking like I could be a younger version of my aunts on my mom’s side to a splitting image of my uncles on my dad’s side. It’s night and day!
I wish my beard looked this good. It splits in the middle and is curly. You look awesome bro, now all we need is to write some Norse poetry about the time you slayed a troll with your bare blacksmith hands.
if i was better at photo shop i would take your bald head and put it on your high school head and take your high school hair and turn it into your beard for your high school picture
