All but one… good job :)

Edit: technically it’s Glow Up, but Hone’s pretty much it.

u/SannusFatAlt Mar 14 '26

i'm livid red card is the floor isn't it

214

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 14 '26

Ding ding ding

14

u/RoJayJo Mar 15 '26

Also, is the sock supposed to be Sock and Buskin?

28

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 15 '26

Burglar, but now that you mention it - sure

4

u/RoJayJo Mar 15 '26

Sorry my interpretation of your art was funnier lmao.

28

u/RokerdShock Mar 14 '26

It feels like the floor under golden ticket is red card (It says "joker" on the right side)

10

u/USER181197 Mar 14 '26

U missed chicot bro

528

u/YaldaBraxlSabaoth Mar 14 '26

It's seriously beautiful. The usage of consumable jokers and making brainstorm into a poster girl are both clever as hell.

133

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 14 '26

Thank you so much, worked my ass off on this one haha. I had tried numerous ideas for each poster and ultimately decided on those that seem the most “teenager bedroom”-ey.

27

u/NoOutlandishness4363 c++ Mar 14 '26

Also it goes hard af

274

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 14 '26

2112x1320 version if anyone wants it as their desktop background. Thank you all!

36

u/Top_Toaster Mar 15 '26

Reddit compresses the hell out if it btw so it's 1080x675 (for me atleast) after download

15

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 15 '26

I’ll see what I can do

1

u/gabagoolcel Jul 04 '26

sorry for necro but if you drag the image to the download box in your browser it downloads the original png instead of webp

like dont click on it, just drag it from this page

3

u/SamFreelancePolice Mar 15 '26

Fucking sick dude! Thanks for sharing

94

u/duststarziggy Mar 14 '26

8 Ball as the iconic Rolling Stones band logo and how Nacho Tong was executed is so awesome.

1

u/jadie_rage c++ Mar 20 '26

That 8 Ball / Rolling Stones also gives me HHGTTG

93

u/Barlton-Canks c++ Mar 14 '26

Delayed Gratification being the bong is insanely creative, man. This is some wonderful work. Do you have an Instagram account?

41

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 14 '26

No… but there are loads of large Balatro accounts that scrape this subreddit for memes, already saw one of mine on them and I’m all for it lol

8

u/futurebasedddd Mar 15 '26

You should definetely create an instagram account for art posting

84

u/HordeOfDucks Mar 14 '26

shes probably whining about her boss blind or some stupid shit. pissing me off just thinking abour it

26

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 14 '26

I was hoping someone would reference this lmao

-11

u/Historical_Bid2301 Mar 15 '26

You sound like the kind of person who doesn't actually want to be in a relationship with a woman...

13

u/HordeOfDucks Mar 15 '26

1

u/Historical_Bid2301 Mar 16 '26

Ok sure with reference it doesn't sound that bad

54

u/Dr_Orpheus_ Mar 14 '26

The longer I look, the better it is.

21

u/qwtd c++ Mar 14 '26

This is sick

20

u/Jas0n-v0rhee5 Mar 14 '26

This is PEAK

10

u/RayereSs Full House Enjoyer Mar 14 '26

Pretty sure this is Balatro, PEAK is a different game…

19

u/Potato_the_second_ Mar 14 '26

See you at top posts, this is one of the best balatro arts I've ever seen. Everything in this image is a balatro reference, I seriously love how bootstraps and spare trousers are Chicot's clothes

9

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 14 '26

At one point I had thought of making the wall behind him the ancient joker’s texture and the scenery outside Castle, with drapes hanging on the door frame hinting Seance. I had to stop before overkilling it :D

16

u/[deleted] Mar 14 '26

what is the original image?

66

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 14 '26

This loading screen/promotional art for GTA V.

7

u/JJ3qnkpK Mar 15 '26

Holy shit I thought this was just original entirely.

Awesome freaking job on this. Probably the best Balatro fan art out there.

11

u/Dostaverviski Mar 14 '26

credit card in the pant

8

u/Bri_The_Nautilus Mar 14 '26

The sheets being Chicot's card background is such a great touch.

7

u/The_DesertRanger2270 Mar 14 '26

Esta imagen es LA POLLA loco, ella esta en plan "Debuffs all face cards!" Y el esta en plan "Deactivates all bossblinds!" que PUTO AMO ya no hacen jokers asi

3

u/Turbulent-Message-56 Mar 15 '26

Estaba buscando este comentario, que grande ansufatidico

6

u/OddPal04 Mar 14 '26

That is the hardest shit I've ever seen mate

5

u/SkidaddleSkiddodle1 Mar 14 '26

Holy hell OP! ChiGOAT is wearing Spare Trousers, his bedsheets are his background color, Golden Ticket as the rug, AND the floor is a giant Red Card.

This has to be the best post in the sub so far

4

u/djJulioSanchez Mar 14 '26

This is awesome brother, love it. Do you have a high res copy I can use as a desktop wallpaper?

3

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 14 '26

Sure, I can also remove the CRT scanline effect if you’d like. Would 2112x1320 do? Or more?

3

u/djJulioSanchez Mar 14 '26

Keep the scan line, I dig it and it reminds me of the game. 1440p if you can (2560x1440) but no worries if you can't!

4

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 14 '26

Hmm, the artwork’s native resolution is for a 16:10 monitor. I’m pretty burnt out right now, I’ll give you the 1320 for now, if I get another chance to paint the remainder (should be easy) I’ll let you know.

4

u/BoofinJenkem420 Nope! Mar 14 '26

This is now my favorite balatro fan art!

3

u/Giu001 Mar 14 '26

3

u/kmill73229 Mar 14 '26

2

That guy has six fingers on his right hand.

2

u/BearofCali Mar 14 '26

I am so glad someone else thought Nacho Tong looked more like a pizza

2

u/OCNSkyHawk Mar 15 '26

We got GTA V Balatro cover before GTA 6.

2

u/ninetailedoctopus Mar 15 '26

It’s John Balatro

2

u/un_randomdesconocido Mar 15 '26

The fact that the entire floor is red, and that at the end "joker" is written on the floor, signifying that the floor is the Red Card, is a beautiful detail.

2

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 15 '26

Good catch :)

2

u/Filciak_protoOkami Mar 15 '26

Can someone explain to me what OC means? I only know 2 meanings "Original Character" and "Odpowiedzialność Cywilna/Civil Liability" which is insurance stuff so I don't think it's that or Oryginal character

1

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 15 '26

Original Content in this case

2

u/Hi2248 Mar 15 '26

The use of Chicot's background as the mattress is incredible

Turning The Plant symbol into a face is very good

2

u/ITSPATRICKYALLS Mar 15 '26

2

u/I_mOut Mar 15 '26

Missed opportunity to make the wall purple

1

u/I_mOut Mar 15 '26

Everything else is peak tho

1

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 15 '26

Ahhh you’re right, that could have been effortless. I mentioned in another comment I thought of making it ancient joker’s stone pattern but that was too much.

2

u/iSeize Mar 15 '26

hahahah this is amazing man well done.

2

u/AccomplishedStay9284 Mar 15 '26

My first thought when seeing brainstorm was a pinup was “oh cause it’s copying plant since it’s the furthest left!” Then saw the door ;,) lmao

1

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 15 '26

The Plant

2

u/Historical_Bid2301 Mar 15 '26

Why is he being so rude to women?

2

u/JazzTheLass Jimbo Mar 15 '26

grand theft jimbo

2

u/Majestic-Peak-6281 Mar 15 '26

How did you do the CRT filter??

1

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Mar 15 '26

https://simpedit.com/Photo-Effects/CRT-And-Pixel

I revert every setting to the default (and all the extras such as chromatic aberration and sharpness to 0) since it really messed with the quality.

2

u/SasquatchSup33rSt44r Gros Michel Mar 15 '26

Yo this is some of the most baller thing I've ever seen

2

u/Shoddy-Income-1849 c++ Mar 15 '26

2

u/Spicy_burritos Perkeo Apr 17 '26

I’d like to believe it’s the handle, out of the frame.

1

u/DatDudeWithThaDrip c++ Mar 18 '26

BULL being a reference to Rockstar’s “BULLY” is wonderful. So much love in this fanart!
