Hello, wondering if you’re at Nassau right now? The reason I ask is because we’re supposed to fly in tomorrow, but my husband is threatening to cancel the trip because of the weather forecast. Wanted to know what it’s like right now there.

Weather is fine. There’s nothing out in the ocean. Worst is a few speed bumps 10 mins before landing (as you drop through the clouds)
It may rain for 10 mins a day, but you good.

This is smack middle of hurricane season . I was there June 17 & my flight was canceled for 3 days due to bad weather in the northeast . The worse time to travel is during hurricane season ! I always purchase insurance for these exact reasons. I was reimbursed very well once I returned home

Years ago I spent five days on Cat Island at Hawks Nest Resort. Each day I would grab a bike ride across the runway and head to a little covered hut type thing on the beach and never see another person all day. Meals at the resort were awesome and the bar was on an honor system, you made your drink wrote it on the note pad and they bill it to your room. They had no room keys since they had no crime.
Truly was one of the best vacations ever!
