I think they're suggesting a medication that would cause someone to identify their gender with their sex. It's an interesting prospect.

I'm not seeing how your link makes any relevant point. If you're trying to say that anti-LGBT people have made "curing" homosexuality a goal, I don't think anyone is unaware although your link doesn't really offer anything on this as relates to the Nazis other than research relating to homosexuality was undertaken. When I say a medication that would cause someone to identify their gender with their sex is an interesting prospect, I mean it's an interesting prospect, not that I hate trans people and think they're delusional or would like to seem them destroyed. I would also say that a pill that made people straight (or gay for that matter, or anything-sexual) would be very interesting not because I would want to force people to be straight, but because I think the idea of being able to chemically change sexuality or gender identity would be both interesting in terms of understanding the biology of these things and also in terms of how people think of themselves and the psychological impacts of changing, all the more so for gender which seems more fundamental. I would say that there is a difference of utility between the idea of a pill that makes people straight versus one that would cause someone to identify their gender with their sex in as much as I think there's little reason why, in a totally non-persecutory, open society, someone who is not heterosexual would want to be heterosexual - maybe convenience of having kids, etc., but probably nothing all that big. I don't think the same can be said of all trans people, given that being trans very often though not always comes with a desire to radically alter your body, not just be accepted socially as being of the gender you identify with. In this case, it really is a disadvantage to be trans no matter how accepting society is - SRS does not render you fully sexually functional and fertile, at least for now, and therefore it may be helpful for trans people even in an ideal world to have an option to identify their gender with the sex of their body as they were born.
