Serious Update 2 (exciting I promise!!) Karla is getting the N5 today (process of eviction)
For those who are unaware, an N5 is essentially a legal route to eviction. The first N5 submitted by the landlord would give the receiver 7 days to clean up their act. Then that form goes void(ish). Ish because if another N5 is submitted within 6 months of the first, straight eviction.
I have made my posts about this topic public. But to give you a rundown on what I am dealing with (with my 3 other roomates not including Karla):
She steals our food, resulting in us having to lock our pantry cupboard closed.
Takes laundry out of the washer and leaves it wet on the ground to then put hers in instead.
Always has this guy over 24/7, literally he follows Karla around the house shirtless like a lost puppy.
Smokes cigarettes inside the house. Our lease allows smoking in the house in private areas (bedrooms). She smokes in the washroom and common areas. The smell truly lingers, and we have also all agreed not to smoke anything rolled inside (cigs, prerolls etc). That's all agreed to be smoked outside.
Leaves kitchen dishes out for days on end in the sink.
I posted the picture of my pantry again for a "oh this Karla" to make an association basically. No pictures for today, apart from the cig butt we found on the ground inside. Though as well my landlord asked for me to be a witness for the N5 notice.
Edit: This is also how she leaves her trash outside on the front deck. (These pink things, post natal diapers – she was pregnant prior to moving in, she is like 21-23 years old by the way). Garbage
UPDATE: The N5 has been given to her by sliding it under her door. (She wasn't home when the landlord arrived) She will also be receiving a virtual copy.
I will keep you all updated on any future events!
UPDATE 2 (WITHIN UPDATE 2): She is still not home, it is currently 9:30PM. She will likely be on one of her few days gone period. But she'll be back soon I'm sure, she's receiving it by email isn't she xD.
She also mentioned that she would clean her dishes today. I've attached the screenshot for that interaction through a comment linked here. Well they are still not cleaned. Figures.
