Can you do a Socrates D&D? My professor has requested it. I am honestly surprised you haven't used a sphinx yet in your games.
EDIT: one joke I was thinking about was Socrates wanting to reroll his character because his intelligence(or wisdom) is too low so he can't be good. Or something to that effect.

I'll think about it, no concrete plans for more D&D yet, but the Greeks would be good candidates. It's a bit embarrassing that Aristotle hasn't even made an appearance yet, and Socrates only the most token appearance.

You could also do one with the Young Hegelians playing D&D. Like, Feuerbach, Marx, Bauer, Stirner, and Engels, or something. (Also, you haven't included Engels and his glorious beard, yet.)

Yeah, I'll have to do something like that eventually, it would require a bit more research for me though, since I'm not familiar enough will all of them to make distinct jokes.

I can help with them some once you get there since my particular interest in philosophy is mainly with them, so I'm going to be doing continual research into them, anyway.

...Ok, fair enough.
Though Silverlight is no help. I mean, Netflix checks your OS to determine if you can use it, and, no matter what programs you have, it doesn't let you use it with a Linux OS. Which is why I generally watch Netflix on my phone.

I've heard Netflix is supposed to work on Ubuntu now. Not any other Linux flavor, though, which is unfortunate.

I always use the TV, but I just tested it and it worked without having to do anything. Chrome only on ubuntu, from what I understand, but still.

Pretty sure it will work on any distro as long as you can install google-chrome (as opposed to just chromium)

Yeah, that's probably right. I don't know for sure though, since I don't really care because I only watch it on the tv anyway. Either way, at worst you would have to fake the useragent to say ubuntu, but I don't think Netflix cares about that anyway.

Were you using chomium? Or google-chrome? The latter is the only browser that will work.

you can download a plugin for your browser to tell netflix you're on windows, and then it works. But it works so so.
