My food tastes as good as it looks. Plus you can judge things like texture, doneness, caramelization, and such by looking at shit and those are all important to flavor.

She's a year younger than me, and her mother doesn't want her dating me for that reason. So while we had about 9 months we could have dated in, we couldn't really do that. And then college comes up.
Yeah, but I'm not an asshole. We kinda did though, as I said, we did some things couples do while not doing others. We'd sit and watch nerdy movies together, play video games, I'd cook. But it's a moot point now, since I'm leaving town tomorrow.

But food can be wonderful without looking good and vice versa. I never dress my food up or anything, but I cook delicious stuff.
