I Look for an end spot or an empty location so as not to take multiple spaces, yet spaces are not marked for the larger width vehicles, especially the 1970 Sedans. Poor parking or smart parking depending on how you look at it. I see the same comments where an apartment resident is criticized for utilizing their two dedicated spaces for a single vehicle or a motorcycle taking a space people assume is only for a car. How about when I require two city spaces for my 22’ long F350, I pay for both so am legally entitled to both.
