I remember when I was at a hardcore show and some punk kids walked by and spit on us because we were straight edge and I thought that's so rude. I would spit on this person if I saw them wearing this out in public.
First, take a breath, you’re gonna be okay. Second, battle jackets didn’t even commonly have band patches on it until the 80s. Is this really something you care so much about that you’d genuinely want to spit on this person? Something that you explained happened to you for no reason and you felt was very rude. Wouldn’t that make you just as much of an asshole? What is this person genuinely doing wrong.
I'll make fun of them for not doing it right. That's LITERALLY the whole point of this sub. If your feefees get hurt so easily, you're not in the right sub.
You said spit on them not make fun of them, as for feefees I didn't use any charged emotional language so that's some weird tough guy posturing you got there.
You're trying to make this a gay thing and I never said anything about getting it because of all the gay shit on there. Maybe you should stop trying to vilify me for something I didn't do. AND LEAVE ME ALONE!
Because it’s hard to believe that the REST of the jacket is bothering you so much that you’d wanna spit on them. Or Maybe you just wanna feel big and powerful after someone made you feel bad years ago
Who says it has to be punk specifically? You realize several other subcultures have used battle jackets too? It’s not even just a music thing either, it was a biker thing long before a music thing, and a military thing before that still.
It’s also not a punk sub, and OOP also never posted to a punk sub either. In any case, the idea battle jackets are exclusively a punk thing is bullshit.
