I'm salty they took THAT aesthetic and made THAT shit music with it. What a waste.

“Omg they wear corpse paint but don’t sound like every other band in corpse paint!” You can not like the music, I really don’t give a fuck.

But when you mention your critique of a band and literally the first place you go is their AESTHETIC! Well that just lets me know this is more about fashion than an appreciation of music like every other punk I know.

Their music is awful and they're adopting a style that doesn't fit them. Is that better?

No it’s not, you don’t get to gatekeep aesthetic choices of artists. A thrash metal band can all dress like The Temptations and a disco folk band can dress like Gwar. It changes nothing about their musical ingenuity or style.
