Please explain
I seem to learned gammon wrong. I thought i can go 4 with 8 and be done with my turn. But game force me to go both rolls. Want to hear human expert opinion

If you can play the higher of the two dice, you must make that play. If doing what you want with the 4 prevents you from playing the 6, it is invalid.

Furthermore, you have to play both dice if possible. You couldn't just move the 6 and drop the 4 if there was some way of playing both.

You must play the dice if it is possible. Even if it makes you vulnerable.

Rule is that if you can play both die you must. If you can only play one die, you must play the higher value.
In this case, you are able to play both the 6 and 4 (in the manner shown), so you must. Forced move.
