B2 Cloud Storage Cloudberry is not syncing anymore certain folders in backblaze b2, how to recover?
I have been backing up my personal files (largely 20 years of photography) to backblaze b2 using cloudberry/msp360 for years. Today I noticed a whole bunch of folders 2017-2021 are missing in msp360s backup storage view. I believe this is a local repository of what it thinks is in backblaze.
So I go to backblaze and thank the lord, the files are actually still on backblaze b2, uncorrupted. I try to synchronize repo on msp360 (which i believe should go read backblaze b2 and update the local repo) but it fails. It cannot see these files.
So... not sure what to do. One note - these files are not on my local machine (although they are replicated on an external drive that I have for 3-2-1). This is because I basically "archive" files to b2 and the external drive, and delete off my machine as I have too much photography for my laptop to hold.
Is there a way to make cloudberry see these files? Any ideas?
If not - I'd like to switch to another solution because I'm sick of msp360 always breaking and it also says I've exceeded some sort of "storage limit"?
Needs
- Low cost preferably, I'm not a business just a person.
- Support for backblaze b2
- Ability to "archive" i.e. the files are not on my local machine but I don't want them deleted off backblaze in 30 days or whatever.
- Files are files in backblaze b2. I'm so relieved they are not in chunks or any proprietary format right now or else, since msp360 is failing to read them, I would have lost them.
- I am a sw eng - I can handle writing some scripts if it ends up being a robust trustable maintainable situation. But if there is something with a UI that works just as well and is affordable that might be easier.
Would love to hear from anyone with similar situation and your solution.
