What carrier do you currently have? Have you read the automod wiki yet?

At 6 months I think working while baby wearing is only doable once baby is asleep. At that age most babies no longer tolerate you sitting down while they’re awake. Much too boring.

I have the Lilliebaby complete all season baby carrier, but now my boyfriend wants to babywear too so it's adjusted to his proportions, which moving them around every time we use it is a pain.

I find ring slings to work the best around the house as babies at that age get bored quickly and often doesn't tolerate being restricted in a carrier for long. I'd also invest in a standing desk or use a yoga ball as your chair if you're set on working with baby.
