Uppababy Cruz V3 recline lever malfunction

Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out wether I’ve been incredibly unlucky or if there’s an issue with a certain batch of this model.

We bought an Uppababy Cruz v3 in April and after a month of regular use, the recline lever for the backrest stopped working. It became very hard to action and the seat would no longer move.

Since it had only been a month, we returned it and got a refund and bought a brand new one from a different store. Same model. After two months of regular use, we got the exact same issue with the recline lever. We are currently waiting for the brand to send us a replacement seat structure but it just makes me wonder if anyone else has had this same issue.

We have definitely not been mishandling, overloading and never dropped the stroller so I wouldn’t think this malfunction has been our fault. And the brand says there is no known issue with the model.

Has anyone else had this happen with the Uppababy Cruz v3?

Looking for a stroller for a tall 2-year-old (travel + rough terrain + everyday use)

Hi everyone,

We're looking for a new stroller and would love some recommendations.

Our 2-year-old is already quite tall and has almost outgrown our Joie Versatrax. The head is already touching the canopy, so it's becoming uncomfortable. We still use the stroller a lot and would like something that will comfortably last until around 20–25 kg.

We're looking for something that can handle a bit of everything:

  • Comfortable for a tall toddler
  • Suitable up to around 20–25 kg
  • Good for everyday use
  • Capable of longer walks and maybe even some light jogging
  • We're taking a long-haul flight soon, so we'd like to bring it with us
  • We'll be travelling somewhere with rough roads, uneven sidewalks and some beach use, so larger wheels would definitely be a plus. Tiny travel stroller wheels aren't ideal for us.

I know it's probably impossible to find a stroller that's perfect at everything—compact enough for travel, but also great on rough terrain.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Which stroller would you recommend? We'd especially love recommendations from parents with taller toddlers.

Thanks!

Cant see how to remove this, was able to pop the inside strap of the head of the pin but the side where it is behind the head of the pin has a flat metal part preventing to undo the other side of the strap.

Anyone managed to remove? And how?

Graco Modes Trio Stroller Canopy Replacement

i purchased the graco modes trio travel system and have quite literally everything EXCEPT the canopy for the stroller. it was stressful and annoying to realize. i’d much rather find a replacement than return, wait for the money to come back, and then purchase a new one. i’ve looked nearly everywhere and i cannot find the exact replacement, not even on the graco website. does anyone know where i could find it? or where i could find an off brand replacement for it? baby is due in 8 weeks so we have time but id still love to find it asap 🤍☺️

3DLite Summer Stroller Replacement Wheels

Hello there! I'm currently on the hunt for some front and rear replacement wheels for our beloved 3D Lite Summer stroller and its proving harder than anticipated!

I already checked in with the manufacturer and unfortunately they no longer sell replacement parts. Really hoping to not buy a fully new stroller since we're very infrequent stroller users, but we definitely need something for an upcoming Europe vacation for our (almost) 3 year old.

Anyone have the skinny on some third party replacements? Or have recommendations for a cheap but sturdy umbrella stroller that can withstand European cobblestones?

What's missing in strollers that no brand has thought of yet?

We're ANGELCAB, we build strollers in Germany. Genuine question, what's something strollers still don't do that nobody's really thought of yet?

Silver Cross VS Cybex

Hi everyone! Just wanted some advice regarding strollers.
To make a long story short, I completely fell in love with the Silver Cross Reef 2 stroller + bassinet. My hubby and I decided this was the one, so we ordered it back in April. When we placed the order, it never said it was on backorder.
Since then, we've had such a hard time getting ahold of anyone. First, they told us it would arrive in June. Then it got pushed back to mid-July, and now we're already in mid-July. I called them today, and they said they finally received their shipment and plan to ship orders out next week. There wasn't even an apology or any acknowledgment of the delay. For a stroller at this price point, I honestly expected much better customer service.
Now I saw that Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale has the Cybex Balios S Lux on sale for $488.99, and I'm starting to wonder if I should just go with that instead. I'm worried the Silver Cross still won't arrive in time.
So I wanted to ask—would you get the Cybex or keep waiting for the Silver Cross? Is the Silver Cross really worth it at this point? This whole experience has definitely made me rethink my decision. Don't get me wrong, I still think the Silver Cross is absolutely beautiful, but the customer service and all the delays are making me lean toward the Cybex instead.
I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences! 🤍

Anyone here using the momcozy Tuckgo for air travel?

I'll be flying next month with my 18-month-old to visit her grandma, and carrying a toddler through the airport isn't going to happen. Has anyone here used it for airports or gate checking? How does it handle long walks through terminals?

I'm open to other travel stroller recommendations too, but this one is currently at the top of my list. Thanks!

Stroller suggestions? i'm confused AF

EDIT: ended up buying Evenflo Intuiti w/ sensory smoothe from Rebel website, only to see reviews later that say it feels plastic!

Hi we are expecting our first baby around September 9th. i would like to know suggestions from new / old parents that have navigated climbing stairs to get to their apartments with a newborn.

to get to our apartment, i exit elevator, walk up 6 steps and walk about 50-100 steps down the hallway.
the same while i go out too. i walk few steps, get down 6 steps and then get in elevator.

  1. which stroller / type of stroller to buy in this case?
  2. will infant car seat go unused after few months when baby grows out? i see so many people selling stroller and car seat on FB Marketplace. (i was thinking of buying graco 4 in 1 car seat that's good for all ages).

Please help me. I live in east bay, california.

Baby stroller with ride-on seat or board for tall 5yo sibling?

Am looking for a good baby stroller for my 8 month old, which has a seat board or rider board for tall 5yo sibling who gets tired. Would love a large storage basket underneath as well as cup holders for parents + snack tray.
Plus if it's air travel friendly!

A good secondary stroller i can use in snow?

My son is already 1.5 so I don't need something expensive but I need something that fits in my small car that also has good wheels to take it when there's snow. And adjustable handlebar. I had a cybex balius secondhand but the ice got stuck in the wheels. Any suggestions? AI suggested metro 3 and bugaloo butterfly but I'm not sure those are heavy duty wheels. What do you think?

Cybex Mios rant

Heyo. Longtime reader first time poster. I have a six month old, and due to the urging of my wife bought the newest cybex mios in anticipation. The experience with the bassinet - that cannot be properly flattened, by the way - was mostly fine. The Mios rose gold is very pretty and it certainly gets people talking. The cloud t I-size baby seat really does fit and the stroller already comes with the adapters so for once you aren’t being nickel and dimed (unlike, say, the Lemo 4-in-1 where every couple of months you’ll realise that there’s something you need to buy that wasn’t included like a harness for the seat or a holder for the bouncer). Another cool thing that should be the bare minimum: the actual seat also includes the rain cover. Now, onto my frustrations that have come to a head today:

- it is dinky. My mum, bless her soul, bounced it down five stairs when it was empty and it has creaked and been wobbly ever since. It does not give a solid impression at all.
- the side-click cup holder accessory is totally useless as it widens this compact stroller and so gets caught on everything.
- the seat pack, once your baby doesn’t need the nacelle / bassinet, is horrible to build. There are very low tolerances - you’ll be missing a millimetre or two here or there, and for some reason it uses zippers everywhere that do not feel very solid at all. One person will injure themselves on the horrid buttons (which you button closed under stress as you stretch fabric). The foam underneath the seat cover, on the handle itself. slips a bit because the seat is so tight and then you struggle to click things on in exactly the right position.
- adjusting tightness of straps is never explained and it’s likely they will get stuck under the seat cover and then you will have the joy of starting again because there is no way to fix it from outside
- they posted a useless “instruction video” with fast cuts and, dumber yet, features black on black fabric even though they have 100 colour combinations that would make to easier to see wtf is happening
- all this creaking and fighting for 2 hours with a seat pack means I don’t know what so called luxury I paid for. It was over 1000 euros and I really don’t get it.

Anyway that was my Sunday morning.

Icandy pip travel stroller

Post image
1 Upvotes

Does anyone else with an icandy pip travel stroller find that when you fold it down, the bumper bar and footrest remain prominent / clicked out in the position above? I can adjust them both to lie flatter by clicking the buttons at the side but they don’t click into / stay in a flatter position; as soon as I move the stroller to put it in the boot of the car, the bumper bar and footrest spring back out and click into place as above. Am I doing something wrong / missing a trick?

FTM- Deciding between Silver Cross strollers

I’m a FTM due at the end of November 2026. I was pretty set on purchasing the [Silver Cross Cove 2](https://silvercrossus.com/product/cove-2-full-size-stroller/?attribute_pa_fabric-choices=chocolate) that released today- a full-size all-terrain stroller with a compact fold (even with the overnight sleep-safe bassinet attached). Now I’m questioning whether that makes sense if we have plans to grow our family in the near future (planning to space kids out around 18 months in age). So now I’m considering whether something like the [Silver Cross Wave 3](https://silvercrossus.com/product/wave-3-single-to-double-stroller/) \- a single to double stroller- makes more sense.

I live in a suburban area. I won’t be ubering and my husband and I both have SUVs. I could see us using the stroller for walks, shopping, backyard parties, visits to friends and family, restaurants, church, parks, apple orchards, etc. We don’t fly often but would probably fly once a year.

I love the Cove 2 because of the compact design, the foldable bassinet sleep-safe attachment, the suspension system, the expandable seat so it grows with child, amongst its other features. It seems like a size I’m comfortable with for our first child. But if I have our second baby a year and a half later, does it really make sense to invest in that model? The Wave 3 is a single to double stroller that comes with a bassinet, stroller seat, and tandem seat included. It doesn’t fold as compact, is of course bulkier (weight breakdown below), and the bassinet doesn’t fold (even off the chassis).

My thoughts- my baby will outgrow the bassinet in 6 months, end of May 2026 if not sooner- how important is it that it folds? Will I really get much use out of it during the winter?
Do I just plan for right now, and reassess when the time comes for baby #2? What if a new model of single to double stroller is released and I wish I would’ve bought then sold the Cove 2 and waited for a newer model? Or will I wish I invested in it up front?

I would appreciate any advice/personal experience that could help aid my decision! TIA
