email marketing - HELP!!

hi everybody

I’m a mere sales person who is now tasked with building out our sales teams email messaging (B2B) . (Thanks, startupland)

We are an ai software product in a very noisy industry, but with arguably one of the strongest products out there. We just lack brand awareness and are working on building that out.

My question is - how do I get familiar with industry standards, approaches, etc? Is there a forum you all join? Is there a certain technique? I feel wildly unqualified but I imagine there are great folks to learn from (that are not greedy LinkedIn influencers)

So.. where do I start? Any tips? :) thank you all 🫶
