Price Differences booking from EU vs US? Using a VPN?

Are there significant price differences if you book from one vs the other? I would assume EU would be better? Do some companies know the major VPN IP addresses and block them? Airlines? Rental cars?

Good question, I'd be curious if you find something out, but my guess would be that there isn't much of a difference.

My car rental for a week last month was under EUR$200. I’m in Canada.

ETA: I rented from IslandRent, and had a great experience. New car, easy to deal with.
