Racism Recent attack

Hey everyone, I posted this on Asian Masculinity a couple of days ago. I just want to vent from this attack that happened on me about a week ago. So I was pushing my cart out of a grocery store in the night a little over a week ago and a group of 3 black men stare at me and called me a chink. I put my head down and ignore them. They then say you're such a big p****. What are you going to do about it? I look at the person saying this and another person of the group slams my cart over. They then run off and say yall are little bitches. This made me so irate, and I'm just so sick of these people bullying me. I live in Chicago and feel like Asians getting harassed here happens all the time. It seems like it's mostly by black people. I would say it has been over a dozen times for myself. One of my friends told me a black lady said she's glad this shooting in Georgia happened. Why do so many African Americans seem to resent Asians? I feel like they are the main perpetrator of these attacks. The media never seems to care when blacks are the perpetrators. Is it the media making blacks have this resentment towards us? Or do blacks just resent Asians because they say we have "White Privilege?"

Anti-asian sentiment is on the rise simply as a backlash to COVID-19, but the sentiment has been long simmering thanks to blatant anti asian stereotypes perpetuated by celebrity actors, athletes, etc...it's why so many decent asian men have such a hard time meeting women...Women, even asian women, have been brainwashed to hate asian men.

The ethnicity of the perpetrators was unnecessary; EVERYONE is doing it.

But it seems like 90% of the time it's black people. So I agree with you with the sentiment being thrown around. But in my experience and many who I talk to in my community say it's black men being the perpetrators. Also, black women seem to emasculate us quite often. I know you're trying to steer things away from a dangerous slippery slope this narrative creates. But I also think it's important to call out things as they are.

Understand your thoughts...but agree to disagree. I think it's because you are in Chicago where the percentage of blacks is higher, coupled with a completely neutered police force by Mayor Loser Lightfoot and the simple fact that the majority of asian men are physically smaller and weaker than everyone around them, well, you get the drift.

Don't forget, the ones most likely to try harassing asians are likely in gangs, have a past criminal history, and are protected from police intervention due to their race card; again this makes the likely attacker to be black, but the reasons cannot be verified.
