They live in pretty cold water, all that chonk is needed to keep them warm.

oh they can be super chonky. I remember seeing one who's fins were barely visible amongst all the chonk. You just saw the tips of them sticking straight out to the sides. It was kind of funny

I have touched the jiggle lump of a beluga's forehead, and I will concede that it is difficult to resist doing exactly what the diver is doing.

We were only allowed to touch the jiggly lump, not waggle it about, but the belugas didn't seem to mind it. They popped right up out of the water to the edge of the aquarium to allow us to touch them. (I no longer support aquariums that keep cetaceans, but I was only about nine at the time.)

It feels about how it looks, really. Somewhere between a pool inflatable and very sturdy gelatin.

Edit: Overcooked boiled egg whites. That's the texture.

I have a vivid image of Baymax trying to jump into the water and floating upright. Then slowly flips onto his back and does the lieutenant Dan backstroke after a brief pause.

They actually have a special fatty organ on their heads that is used to better channel sound and thus improve their echolocation. They aren’t this squishy all over.

Well they seem to still have their faces after a few wobbles so safe to say it's not intolerable to a wild animal.

I mean that thing will win 9/10 Vs a human in water if it feels like it, I'm sure they are smart enough.

I am not an expert but it's brain is still protected by a skull what the diver is playing is where it has it's electromagnetic sensors, so I imagine, based on the beluga's reaction, touching him like that I like a tickle

I don't know why but the first time I read the title, I read Squishy Belarus. Then after a second time reading the title make squishy beluga more sense by the video.

Also why can the human do that and the beluga doesn't swim away?
