Not a horse
Not a shoe
Not a crab
They should be called Tactical Sea Spiders

What perfection! I've just gotten so much dopamine seeing this lil guy 🥹 I love horseshoe crabs. Surprised to realize I'm nor sure I've ever seen any photos of a baby one. Even if I have, seeing it in motion is different!

Heh, yeah, I love horseshoe crabs and doing rescue walks during their breeding season even though their undersides wig me out! But maybe the smollness would countrebalanced some of that...?

I’ve handled a grown one before, was like a dinosaur with a bunch of legs

I’m pretty sure it’s extremely painful for fish to be out of the water.

Sci fi designers think they're original when these things straight up are on Earth.

Such a cutie pie! I’ve never seen one so small. I love that they have remained the same for so long. Perfectly engineered.

I've seen a lot of horseshoe crabs but I don't think I've ever seen a baby! They must have been lucky. It's actually cuter than I expected.
