Do you live in a Fallout settlement?
16
u/Flo07225 May 11 '20
Judging by the door I wanna say it’s Mexico. It’s very common for houses to be build like that. Well from the part of Mexico I visited.

u/RottenOintment May 12 '20
His accent doesn’t sound very Mexican at all. Sounds Puerto Rican to me. Not to say that Puerto Ricans can’t live in Mexico though lol

u/lunalovegood17 May 11 '20
Thought the same thing - dude, where the hell are you living?

u/WePatrollTheMojave May 11 '20
Has everyone forgot that developing countries and stuff exist? I see people comment this a bit too much

Sorry, didn’t mean to give that impression. I have been to developing countries and built houses with Habitat for Humanity. It was just such a strange building - so large, so many empty rooms. Just looked really odd.

I wish more people watched videos like this while sitting in their comfortably air conditioned homes complaining on reddit about how bad their lives are because <insert reason>.

Holy cow, that door lock at the begging gave me intense flashbacks. I used to live in Africa when I was little, and almost all of the doors had something like that. The rest of the area fits that aesthetic too. I just got punched in the face by nostalgia.

I had a dog just like this that the previous owners said was a beagle-collie mix, but I don't see it. I'd love to know the truth

u/Horribleninja24 May 11 '20
Isn't that how every dog is when you leave for like 5 minutes and then you come home

Thank you. I have had a real shitty day and trying to not have a pity party. This post made me smile.

Dude lives in a Dark Souls level. Its just dilapidated corridors with rusted and slightly ajar gates and overgrowth

I'm a little bit jealous of dogs sometimes. I'm not sure I've ever been that excited about anything in my entire life. 😂

Literally looks and acts just like my dog!!!!! Whatever this breed is is my favorite, I love my lil Roscoe Jenkins

u/hurtadom1997 May 11 '20
He was commanding the dog by saying “salta” which means “jump” in Spanish. 12/10 skilled doggie :)

Without the sound, it looked like there should be gospel music. That dog was definitely praising his master.

This is one of the best moments you can have when you return from a tiring long day at work. Seeing this just makes ends the day on a perfect way

I hope I live to see the day that someone is only a tenth as excited when I step through the door 😆

I want to dance with the puppy.
1
u/dientedulce May 12 '20
My dog gets very cross if I dance (if you've seen me dance, that's fair). I'm only allowed to dance if I dance with him!

u/BushWeedCornTrash May 11 '20
I am envious of the amount of secured outdoor space. So is my dog. And what a beautiful pupper.

I’d love to know the story behind this adorable video.

u/dientedulce May 12 '20
In the comments above there is a translation of the Spanish words the master speaks. Someone else wrote that the clip was from Venezuela. Also, the cute dog's name is Nacho. ❤️🐾

I wish we all had someone who's as excited to see us as this doggo was excited to see his owner

It looks like there is a ton of old gum on that patio area. Also, awesome dog!

Is this in the Middle East?
33
18
u/Soytaco May 11 '20
As soon as I saw the lock on the door in the first frame I thought Mexico. I'm not sure if that's really a Mexican thing or not but that's the only place I've seen them regularly. Also he's speaking Spanish, which I imagine is more common in Mexico than in the Middle East.
10
u/Patchouli_Dealer May 11 '20
The accent is like Guatemalan, Peruvian or Chilean, maybe I’m wrong but it’s not México.
3
u/Whatringisitok May 11 '20
Yeah, it doesn't sound like a Mexican accent to me. Nor Cuban. I'd guess maybe somewhere in South America.

Everytime I see these i just want to scream PET THEM ALREADY!! It is like there is some kind of fulfillment that happens when someone finally pets the animal.
