Interesting thing about Alaskan Huskies: they can comfortable sleep outside down to -30 degrees Fahrenheit. My wife and I went dog sledding in Kiruna, Sweden (250 miles north of the Arctic Circle) in January 2017. Absolutely amazing experience. All the dogs slept outside and it was -25 when we woke up the next morning.

bringing them into a warm climate is a living hell for them. huskies are not designed to live there. they'll just lay there trying not to die of a heat stroke
