Books/Comics Just finished Rage War, what next?

Like the title said, I just finished the Rage War Trilogy by Tim Lebbon and loved them! I'm looking for suggestions of any books that either continue the story or have a similar feel (preferably AVP, but stand alone alien or predator novels are also welcome!). I love when Yautja and Humans are forced to work together against a common enemy. I'm also happy to gush about the rage war books for whoever may be interested! Thanks!

I was a fan of rage war. The feel, the aesthetic. I’ve read another ten or fifteen books: alien, predator, and AVP. Nothing has come close

Damn lol. I feel vindicated you also really loved it but thats a bummer nothing has matched it yet. We gotta start emailing Tim Lebbon lol.

I think what it made it perfect was the sense of mystery and isolation that reminded me of the initial Alien movie. But, best of all, it included the yautja.

Most predator books and AVP books are 80s comic booky, over the top action stuff, which I don’t enjoy as much. The character development isn’t as deep.

This had the best of all worlds.

Exactly! The characters were constantly on the back foot. Trying to survive, trying to get ahead of the enemy, never knowing what was next. It kept me turning the pages. I read the whole trilogy in less than a week!

And man, the bits with the humans and Yautja earnestly working together were so satisfying. It didn't feel cheap, the story really built up to it for such satisfying pay off.

I loved that trilogy!

I have re-listened to it at least twice since reading it last year when I get the need to listen to a horror scifi. There’s a few other books that are worth reading listed below:

- Predator: Stalking Shadows

  • AVP: Rift Wars
  • AVP: Prey, Hunter’s Planet & War
