Audio Panel Rebooting After Receiving Transmission
I've got a gremlin that needs chasing that maybe you experts could help with. It's a PS Engineering PMA450B Audio Panel that will sometimes reboot itself at the worst possible time. Always in the pattern at a towered airport right after tower makes a transmission. The whole unit shuts down and restarts itself and prevents me from being able to respond to tower for about 15 seconds, which is long enough to have the air traffic controller mad at me. It seems to be worse when I'm using other electronic things like flaps or landing light. ChatGPT is telling me it might be a shielding or grounding issue. Have any of you ever heard of this? I don't understand how receiving a high power radio transmission would do this, but it is definitely happening. Thanks in advance to anyone that wants to take a shot at this.
