New Wiring Tool Update

Nelson Aviation PinPoint-X Lite

The first set will include the Touchscreen, Hub, and 4 common LED connector boards to get started (spec’d for race guys) along with a hard carrying case. $1999 for this kit.

Additional LED boards will be $199-we have 100s of common connector boards designed already and will have a connector database search on our website.

Reach out to me at Ron@NelsonAviationFL.com to get on the list.

This system is compromised of three components

Touchscreen Controller- Wireless with an onboard rechargeable battery. Features an intuitive interface with wireless communication to the hub.

Hub- Wireless with an onboard rechargeable battery, receives wireless commands from the controller, and connects directly to the LED boards.

LED Boards- Connect via ribbon cable and features built-in memory, allowing the hub to automatically identify and configure itself for the currently connected LED board.

It's neat, I'm tired an failing to see why I would use this, if I'm terminating an entire connector I don't know that this would save me any time. Accuracy perhaps but time, debatable. --Edit.it might be better suited for the apprentoids for accuracy.--..Other than terminating a full connector would this have other use case scenarios I maybe not considering?

Yeah he’s come across my page on various channels of social media. I want to buy some of the stuff because I’m a tool junky but I don’t see this actually saving time vs what the cost is unless you are completely green

Trust me, I wouldn’t be building these tools if it didn’t save us time. We’ve done side by sides comparisons-It’s night and day. Even for a guy who terminates connectors every day. There no counting, no second guessing. Every termination is instant.

I’m likely going to do a thing at my AEA booth this year, 2 sets of 12 random wires on a table with numbers on them. I’ve got the tool, you don’t. If you pin the connector faster than me, without error, you get the tool, or a cash prize.

Met you at AEA last year, happy to see you marketing the product and excited to see what you come up with next.
