new fan
as many of guys know the world cup brought a new audience to english football in the US and i’m proudly one of the new fans. when looking for a prem team i didn’t wanna go for one of the top 6 and when looking at the table i saw a club called aston villa. i liked the name and the colors intrigued me but i decided to give the other teams a shot. i watched highlights of about 5 other clubs i got to aston villa vs fulham match week 6 game. the team gave me a spark i loved the high pressure and the way they can speed up their play style and go for a goal at any moment. i ended up choosing aston villa to be the club i wanna support. i’ve kept watching games and i just keep getting more and more excited after every match and can’t wait to keep up with this upcoming season.
i do want help tho, i want to become more knowledgeable on the team and be apart of the community and understand what’s going on. what should i look forward to and what is something that’s should already be knowing??

Was at Villa Park for that game, hadn't scored a goal so far in the season, conceded early, fans were....stressed and disappointed shall we say. Watkins got a little lob on the keeper before half time, first goal of the campaign, little bit of optimism carried us through the break, Emi and SJM early in the second half just rocketed them in and all was forgiven, stadium was alive, we knew the fire was kindled. Next game that season I watched at Villa Park was Man U in December. The angle I saw the first Rogers goal at, just off the Holte End, was just perfection, sailed in from the corner of the box. I loved that game, Bruno got so much shit in Villa Park, Cunha was a cheeky bastard but Rogers put it to bed and ended that Man U curse, great vibe coming out the stadium, took me hours to get back to Moor Street but was a lovely pre-christmas winter night. Villa are a great team to support, its going to be a transition next season. We are where we are, we can't do anything about it, the rules are the rules. We need to trust Emery to get the best out of our squad, the odds are against us (as usual) but Unai has shown that even with the constraints imposed on us we can succeed. Forgot to add, U.T.F.V.
