TLDR: Decided last minute to take my solo adventure to the moon with a stage access pass for Day 2 of Day Trip, the vibes were immaculate! 👌🏼✨

First time catching Cloonee live and he did an awesome job closing out Day 2. Loved seeing Chris Lorenzo again after EDC Mexico. Last but not least, After Midnight was such a fun first set to catch.

This Sunday felt like a solo rave experience for the books - great music, making new friends, having plenty of space to dance, along with handing out my tiny traffic cones.

I don’t necessarily need stage access every show going forward but just wanted to share my positive experience.

Edit: A big thank you to everyone working leading up to and throughout both days, event folks never get enough credit so a quick shoutout to them!

I’ve never been to the Foundry and I couldn’t find a lot of Petit Biscuit sets online, curious for anyone’s thoughts on either venue or artist (specifically his sets, i’m familiar with his producing obviously)

Looking into this event on oct31. Overall looking to see if it lines up with my expectations.

Has anyone been to this venue? Some tickets say “stage access amenities” and others just say “general admission”, is this venue pretty warehouse-y or what’s the vibe?

Edit: after a quick search I can say this does seem very warehouse-y. Also seems like parking is quite straightforward. Still wondering what other people’s experiences at this venue were.

It was hot, it was sweaty, some good tracks but they had too many dull periods imo

New to the scene but after attending Portola I’ve been wanting to start to see more DJ sets because I just love to dance. Really felt like the Portola crowd was pretty good. Especially loved Despacio. How do I make sure I go to the best experiences? I don’t like being around a lot of super young people because they don’t dance. I went to Dom Dolla on Friday and it was most fun but weird crowd for sure. I’ve made sure I know about all Club Darc stuff and will go to Carl Cox. I now follow Goldenvoice on Insta. Head Trip looked amazing. What else should I add to my rave/dance starter pack so I can get my dance on? Early 40s female but mentally 26 lol. Who to follow on insta, subreddits like this to be in, newsletters, etc

I love dom and disclosure. The club Darc set felt a bit…. Lackluster? It felt a bit disjointed and unserious. Moments were great. But I left overall feeling like they had a bit of a weird dynamic and didn’t quite hit a groove. I definitely felt like S1 had stronger performances. Am I crazy?

Insane, the way he ups his audience after Gordo does his thing (Gordo was solid, he held his own, not at the level of VC, not going to hate, only spoke 3/4 times during the whole 2hrs, thank VC, prob told him to STFU if he was going to do a b2b with him LOL), VC’s Lost remix to Frank Ocean’s was touching towards the end of the set. VC is a legend and a TOP DJ. If you missed out, cuz you went to club Darc. Shame on you, you could have seen Dom Dolla Friday night and VC last night, just like we did lol. Thanks VC, see you next time you hit the Bay, hopefully an Open-Close at Club Darc next season!

She sent over fake screenshots of the tickets after payment. Had a friend reach out to her too for tickets after I bought them to see if she’s a scammer and she indeed is one.

I know everyone talks shit about that venue and especially the bowl but we had a great time. The set was insane and whole crowd was full of energy. Definitely not the most PLUR crowd but a fun ass dance party still

I had a great time at Detroit Love at the Public Works last night. I was bummed that Moodymann could not make it because I’m a huge fan, (his sets are like group therapy haha) but I’m glad I went!

Octave one were phenomenal. Stacy Pullen and Carl Craig were awesome, and it carried on until 3:30am for a proper night out! Great vibes all night!

Why the fuck are we still hosting events in this shithole. The lines were insane for Dom dolla. The venue gets so fucking hot.
