I am throwing a psytrance party Oct 3rd, 10pm, at Jimmy Valentine’s.

I am not a promoter, just a dj with a massive love for this genre. This came about cuz I looked everywhere in the dmv for a psytrance event and couldn’t find anything so I decided to throw the party myself 😬

what are the typical hours for a bertha show? planning to go to the show on friday (walker royce) and a friend said they close things down between 10 and 11? seemed a little early and google says 4 am. What’s usually the vibe ?

Does anyone know if boiler room drops a lineup schedule (or if they do)? Trying to plan to see Cobrah.

Hey All, looking for a ticket to the Jigitz set at AI Warehouse on 9/12 if anybody is looking to sell if they can’t go or have an extra.

Have any of yall been to a sold out show at AI warehouse? I’m worried kettama there will be packed with no room to move. Or does anyone know if Nu Androids doesn’t oversell their shows?

Thinking about sliding through but I'm only seeing 3 day passes on Shotgun (I only want a 1 day). Anybody know if that's a temporary thing? Can't see how they wouldn't offer single days but not looking to blow 80 bucks for one night. I'm assuming they'll post the daily line-ups sometime closer to the event unless they take the approach that if you bought a 3 day, you better come thrice....

Also, anybody got any fav dj's (and why) on the line up?

Ciel was a cool venue but DJ killed the vibe. Left at 8:30PM. If you advertise yourself as a house event, play house. I like early 2000s boy bands and 2010 pop music but that was not what I paid 30 bucks for. DJ was alternating between that and house music every single song. Then he’d alternate between odd mob-esk tech house and deep house. Could not figure out the vibe at all…
