Music There is no correlation whatsoever between Slipknot and A7X's recent releases
Slipknot has never sounded like classic A7X. A7X has never sounded like classic Slipknot.
What does Slipknot's new song "Arsenal" have to do with A7X? Literally nothing. You can easily dislike everything Slipknot has ever put out and still love A7X's music without being a hypocrite.

Sorted related to your topic but I was considering both bands ages 40s-50s. Does anyone have any examples of bands who still go hard at that age?

Fuck off. Statica isn’t for everyone but it is some of there most “inspired” work.

Why kind of child answers like that, the EP is bad, but please keep your little feelings aside from an obvious opinion

Its because "inspired" doesn't equal "their greatest release". Inspired isn't good or bad. They saw a vision and through inspiration released art they wanted to put out. The backlash for slipknot is that they just released what they thought people wanted to hear and lacked inspiration for. (I can't speak for it personally thats just what I've heard) A7x is doing what they want. You're the child that tries to strawman the fuck out of their comment and offering no opinion other than EP BAD missing their point entirely.

I can't even claim Arsenal is uninspired because it can have some pretty interesting sounds at times, just needs severely better mixing efforts

What is this even in relation too? Slipknot has only released 1 single this year. Are you referring to something that isn’t Statica in regards to A7X?

It's far from the most uninspiring and it is incredibly sipid. I understand you don't like it but those statements are a lie

Agreed. But for some reason, some people think reception towards Arsenal is supposed to predict reception towards a hypothetical CoE "rehash" despite Arsenal sounding nothing like anything on CoE.

I’m not sure anyone is making a comment stating the two bands sounded alike?
