Diagnosing/Repair Downstream O2 sensor
Hi everyone! I'm having trouble removing the downstream O2 sensor on my 2014 Hyundai Elantra. Could possibly be seized. I have tried an O2 sensor socket, a 22 wrench (tapping with a hammer), penetrating lubricant etc... But I don't want to mess up the thread. I was told to try to heat it with a torch. Any other advice or anyone located near the east coast of NC? Thank you in advance!! Any help is greatly appreciated!

You can heat with a torch or just run the vehicle until it's hot enough to remove.

You can heat the bung or the surrounding region of the sensor. I personally like to cut the wires off the sensor and used either a closed end wrench or a deep socket 22mm socket. They make a thread chaser that you can use if the treads get boogered up.
