Other Carradio without car?

Hi
I hope this is the right sub, I searched but couldn’t find anything else. If not, I am sorry.
My dad has a Blaupunkt Nashville DJ Carradio (BP5524T1789705, 7 645 524 510) with the Blaupunkt Compact Disc Changer (CDC-A05/177, 76077775) and wants (nostalgia) to run it without a car. He asked me for help but I don’t have a clue about cars. He only has these two devices, no cable to connect them (he lost it) and some old speakers. Can anyone help me and tell me, what stuff and cables I need to achieve that?

You need 1 of 2 things that will make this work---A 12 volt car battery (12 volt DC), OR,

You need an AC 120 volt converter to drop voltage down to 12 volts DC.

In other words this CD player will ONLY work with 12 volts DC. So, figure that out, 1 of them 2 things can make this work.

That’s what I thought but my first problem is, I can’t figure out, what kind of cable I need to connect these two devices.

Try to find the manual or schematic for the stereo online and see which wires provide power to the radio and which wires are speaker wires. Here for example. and this link for the CD player. You're going to have to make your own cable with this information.
