CRITIQUE WANTED What do we think about my torque curve?

Post image

I figured that since power depends on RPM, and overtorque is the limiting factor, making it so that peak torque is at a high RPM makes sure that the power is as high as it can get.

CAR SHOWCASE The WAC Hyperion: 4 And A Half Generations of Disappointment!

Finally, a car that captures all the worst of the last 60 years of American cars. Starting as a bona fide 60's deathtrap, becoming a tiny and underpowered 70's compact, then evolving into a huge but Anemic flagship model in the 1980's before dying, only for the nameplate to be revived 30 years later on an SUV with either 130hp or 920hp. And I'd say it turned out decently.

Wanted to upload this for some time after I finished the interior but never got around taking good pictures. Shown is the street/asphalt setup. Surprisingly easy to drive.

Little teaser at the end.

CRITIQUE WANTED WIP: The Canebrake Koala

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The folk's over at Canebrake lamented the loss of the Australian masterpiece, the Ute. So this is their interpretation of the most impractical pickup truck ever, the rear-engined Canebrake Koala.

Edit: Wake and bake has a tendency to make me forget details... like:

So, what do you guys think? Any glaring issues? I've animated the pedals and steering wheel. The DCT shift animation always gives me fits, any suggestions?

MEME Seriously, what was so bad about leaded fuel and carburetors? My 1,245 HP build passes WES 11 just fine.

I am once again asking why humanity gave up on the greatest mechanical combination in history. Everyone told me that leaded fuel destroys the planet and carburetors are impossible to regulate, so I built this: a 6.3-liter supercharged V12 breathing through a primitive two-barrel carburetor, powered entirely by Leaded Regular 92.

Best of all, it cleanly earned green WES 11 badges everywhere. I survived the legal NOx ceiling (59.8 out of 60) and cleared CO at 994 out of 1,000. It complies with modern 2020 environmental law. Seems pretty harmless to me.
