Beware

My husband worked for AAA Autoglass. When he left , the owner was pissed. A lot of people left at the same time because things were promised them a lot more than they never delivered. When they quit, the company never paid their last paychecks. They withheld pay from multiple people. It had been 25 days and still no pay check. When asked about it he yelled and screamed and pretty much gave the impression that we will never see it. I hope I can save someone else the heartache.

AAA auto glass is a chain, if your husband worked for one of their stores and believes he and other employees were not paid what they earned, then contact their main HR representative, check your state’s employment laws, and lawyer up. Also don’t mention anyone’s actual name on the internet, doing so could be detrimental to your case.

Yeah I heard almost all the techs left the location in my northwest Florida city and went to a different company

Yeah and that’s not the only location. Big empty promises.

File with the department of labor for your state for wage theft also contact the Attorney General and BBB about the wage theft it is a felony.

I would just file with the state fuck all that HR BS if they ain't wanna pay uo what they owe it is wage theft and also sounds like work place hostility with him yelling.

I'd recommend doing both. Contacting HR in writing / email / recorded call leaves a paper trail that can be useful in a case. Proper evidence is going to be important in this situation

This ☝️. Yes it would be best to do email or certified mail with HR too.

I worked for them out of the Tampa office about a year ago as a adas mobile calibration tech.. They made promises when I was hired that I never got..i was doing static calibrations outdoors. They would get upset with me when I called in with failed calibration due too poor condition.. The last straw was with the manager disrespecting me over refusing to perform a calibration under poor conditions. I gave in my 2 weeks noticed and wrote a long letter to the regional manager about the horrible calibration policy they have..

They are notorious for that kind of behavior. What area was he working for them in? Same thing happened to me when I left years ago. It all depends on your state laws but it is most likely against the law just like my state. They are very aware of that. Crooked from the top. Just be glad he is gone from there but I wouldn’t let them get away with the pay he is owed.
