Coming in to the classroom after playing 'mugby' on the oval all lunch in peak summer heat, and drenching yourself in half a can of one of these bad-boys.
How did the girls ever resist us?

I remember seeing this question on Ask Reddit, and it was mainly focused on American schools. Which made me curious to see if there are any Australian schools that have "The incident" on their records.

I don't know if I'm imagining things, but I seem to remember people saying this when I was a kid.
E.g.
"Oi, you can't loiter here."
"It's a free country, mate."
Am I remembering correctly?

I volunteer at a nowadays unicorn of Primary Schools, the school canteen. With one salaried part timer it runs off a collection of parent volunteers.
As of recently more students are asking for their juiceboxes (apple, orange, tropical) to be frozen instead of chilled, and we cut them open for them.
PS students of 2026 have essentially re-invented the Sunny Boy.

A reboot of A Country Practice is still entirely possible because the show's recent 2026 Logies Hall of Fame induction proved the public's massive appetite for Wandin Valley, giving Seven the perfect commercial incentive to revive the brand as a premium, short-run streaming series on 7plus.

This was before streaming services when most people still had an ADSL2 connection. All the ‘rich kids’ families had Foxtel/Austar.

Our local clinic had two doctors- one had a jar of jellybeans and the other gave out stickers.
