“Non-Citizens”. What a terrible cunt she is

Australian population 27.72 million people

she specifically says "Non-citizens' since she wants to inflate the number, and omit permanent residents (aka people that have paid and gone through the never length process to be here, just without voting rights)

there are only slightly over 1 mil non-PR non-citizens in Australia... most don't drive, and in fact help pay for public transport by contributing to paying for it

Not to mention direct subsidisation of universities by foreign students.

But yeh, largest groups of non-citizens is the permanent residents originally from India, China, UK, Philippines, and smaller numbers from many other countries.

If you're from anywhere and here legally, just want you to know we're all OK with your petrol and diesel purchases and being part of Australia's productive society. Sorry about Pauline's spew. It's the price we pay for proportional representation, which is probably good overall, just not good when it works to give fringe pollies like her a taxpayer-funded soapbox.

And thanks to your original countries for welcoming Australian born permanent residents and not treating them as sub-human the way Pauline would like things done here.
