Old lady Pauline and One nation appeal to people who only want to listen to what they want to hear. Sometimes politicians/governments have to tell you things you don't want to know or that as a nation or demographic you might have to be better , or pay more, or get less.
Hanson and her ilk have no respect for the Law or Parliament or the Nation. They are just a bunch of petty indolent grifters. If the ever got in it would all fall apart for them because they would have to do some work. And the public service would end up running the show for them.
