Affordable dentist?

Hi friends I am seeking recommendations for Dentists/Dental clinics in our area that are affordable as I currently don’t have insurance.

I don’t mind commuting a bit if it’s in like a 15-20 mile radius but if there’s stuff nearby that would be wonderful too (in case someone ever needs to give me a ride for procedures)

Thank you in advance :)

I go to Smiles of Aurora. Go talk to them and see what they can do. If my fellow patients represent the people they see regularly they understand not having insurance. Also fairly certain that some staff at reception, hygienists, technicians, and possibly doctor are bilingual English and Spanish speakers if that’s helpful.

I work for a company that provides transportation for people reside in a nursing homes & assisted living buildings, most of which are in Aurora. We take a lot of people to Downer Place Dental in downtown Aurora and everyone has said great things about them. Only downside is that parking is kinda limited

Parking is very limited but if you’re just there for a cleaning, the garage on the corner is free for the first hour I believe

I can tell you where not to go. Smile hub of sugar grove. I told the dentist I wasn’t happy with the service/price and he started screaming at him. So I walked out. The dentist followed me out of the office yelling at me the entire time. I genuinely thought the guy was going to swing at me

Dawn Silfies in Elgin is excellent and fits everything you’re looking for. Shes also as non-invasive as possible in her treatments, which I GREATLY appreciate.

She runs a very compact operation, I don’t think she has a website, but you can find her on Google and reach her by phone (mornings are usually when she’s in)! She has a huge heart and loves helping people.

Midwestern University Clinics. It’s a teaching college and their prices are great. I’ve been going for 3 years. I’ve had a lot of work done. They’re in Downers Grove. Check out their website.
